When freezing temperatures blanket the area in a layer of ice, many of us have to scramble to the nearest hardware store or grocery for salt to de-ice our driveways and sidewalks. We may not even look closely at the label, or know exactly what it is we’re buying.
The state of the art evolves in every profession, so in my line of work, I’m always finding things to add to my expertise in real estate.
That’s what led me to get my certification as an Energy Smart Real Estate Specialist (ESRES). This designation lets buyers and sellers both know that I am there with information on energy-saving (and money-saving) steps any homeowner can take.
